My printer ink gets spread when I print on glossy papers?

my black ink gets spread when i print on glossy papers like labels.It even prints lighter compared to normal papers.

Your paper is probably not designed for inkjet printers. Glossy paper tends to not be as porous as regular paper so the ink cannot get into the paper and spreads like that. You’d need to get some glossy paper designed for inkjet printers (like HP photo paper).

When you go to print click properties in the dialog box and set the paper for glossy.
